General Manager – Pret a Manger
Starting Salary: £40,000 per annum
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including staffing, sales performance, financial management, and customer satisfaction. You will lead by example—motivating and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service while driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory control
Drive sales and profitability through effective cost management, upselling strategies, and promotional initiatives
Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by coaching, training, and developing team members
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
Prepare and analyse financial reports (P&L statements, budgets, forecasts) to track performance and identify improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, supply chain) to deliver company initiatives and achieve business goals
Skills & Experience
Proven leadership experience within the hospitality industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness

About Joup Pret

In the coming years Joup ltd established itself in Scotland and once again looked to branch out into our latest venture as a franchise partner with Pret A Manger.
Purchasing three established stores from Pret and opening new stores in Dundee and Edinburgh in 2024 with strong goals for growth and an aggressive expansion plans.
